We would like to welcome our new DIGs and thank previous groups that have updated their contact information for 2014-2015. If your school's dermatology interest group would like to become affiliated with DIGA or have yet to update your contact information for this year, please complete DIGA's Online Registration Form and then email to alert us to the form's completion.

The Cutaneous Oncology Program at Boston University Medical Center is currently accepting applications for a one to two year Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship starting July 2014.  Fellows will receive training in the multidisciplinary management of patients with cutaneous lymphoma, melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancers, and pigmented lesions using such treatment modalities as targeted therapy, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, extracorporeal photopheresis, and phototherapy.  Fellows will be actively involved in conducting clinical trials and are expected to present their work at regional and national meetings and to publish their findings where appropriate.  In addition, fellows will be participating in General Dermatology clinics.

The Kuchnir Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery will be spearheading a new educational fellowship for accepted, future dermatology residents that are seeking a clinical position between the completion of preliminary/transitional year and start of their dermatology residency (“gap year”). The fellow will join our academically affiliated private practice and participate in clinical encounters, medical student education, and dedicated mentorship from our eight dermatologists with over fifty years of combined experience as faculty at the University of Massachusetts, Harvard and Tufts Medical Schools.  This experience is highly customizable to engage in activities that align with the fellow’s professional goals. The Department of Dermatology at the Hofstra NSLIJ School of Medicine has received initial accreditation for a training program. At this time, we are seeking candidates for PGY2 positions only who have or will have successfully completed a qualifying PGY1 training year prior to matriculation on July 1, 2014.
